Niraj Doshi
SVP, Global Operations
Dr. Doshi is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in the medical device and healthcare industries, with leadership spanning global operations, manufacturing, supply chain, research and development, and corporate strategy. Since joining AVITA Medical in 2018, he has played a central role in scaling the company’s acute therapeutic wound care portfolio, leading global product launches, establishing strategic distribution partnerships, and building the operational infrastructure to support sustained double-digit growth.
In his current role, Dr. Doshi oversees global operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, and service, in addition to research and development, program management, new product development, and business development. He is responsible for aligning innovation with execution—driving end-to-end product lifecycle performance from concept through commercialization while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and operational scalability.
Previously, Dr. Doshi held senior leadership roles at Siemens Healthineers, where he helped drive more than 30 global product launches and was recognized as a Siemens “Top Talent,” an honor awarded to the top 1% of employees worldwide. He also held executive roles at 4Catalyzer companies, contributing to the development and launch of breakthrough technologies including Butterfly Network’s iQ handheld ultrasound and Hyperfine’s Swoop portable MRI.
Dr. Doshi’s cross-functional expertise spans product development, operations, quality and regulatory affairs, intellectual property, and corporate strategy. He holds more than 15 patents, has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications, and has received international recognition including the Red Dot Product Design Award and the Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award.
He earned a PhD in Biomedical Physics and a BS in Cybernetics from UCLA, an MS in Medical Radiation Physics from Rosalind Franklin University, and an Executive Juris Doctorate in Law and Technology from Purdue Global Law School. He has also completed executive education programs at Harvard and Wharton’s Business Schools. Dr. Doshi is also a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.
